The Observer is up for four Ontario Community Newspaper Association 2008 Better Newspaper Awards, meaning a top-three finish in each category: feature writing (papers with a circulation over 10,000), health & wellness writing, best community newspaper website and surfer’s selection for our website, www.observerxtra.com.
Final standings and the awards themselves will be presented at the 2009 OCNA convention on Apr. 17 in Toronto.
