The Observer emerged as the country’s best newspaper in its circulation class as the Canadian Community Newspapers Association this week announced its award winners for 2013.
The paper was one of the competition’s biggest winners, with five honours.
In addition to Best All-Round Newspaper, the awards include first place for Best Editorial Page, second-place finishes for Best Front Page and Best Feature Story and a Blue Ribbon for placing in the top third of competition entrants.
