On Saturday, March 29, 2025 William “Bill” Hahn of Elmira, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was reunited with the love of his life, Margaret “Joan” Hahn (2018), at the age of 88 years. Bill had missed Joan for seven long years, and was ready to join her once again. Dad had a full life and family meant the world to him. He would always light up when talking about his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very proud man. Many wonderful memories will be cherished forever by daughter Julie (Bill) Ferrier, granddaughters Tanya (Trevor) Fisher, Jessica (Ian) Atfield, and great-grandchildren Mya, Zoey Fisher, and Archer Atfield. A special thank you to April Allen and the staff at St. Jacobs Place. Their dedication and care for Bill was exemplary, and they are appreciated more than words can say. We would also like to thank the caring staff at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Campus Palliative Care Unit, Kitchener. A warm thank you to Father Peter Meyer (Bill’s nephew) for his caring words and guidance through this difficult time. Take mom’s hand and rest in peace dad.
