It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Edgar, who departed the world on March 10, 2025 at the age of 72 years. Dear wife of Donald Edgar (2015). Beloved mother of Justin Zieschang (Ashley Kelly), Amanda Zieschang (Bob Moffatt), and stepmother of Kelly Edgar. Proud grandma of Avery and Frances. Survived by her sister Loriann (Reynold) Brandt. Anne will be missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Magdalena Striegel, and her brother Andrew. A tribute from her children: In loving memory of our dear mother, Anne, we reflect on the incredible woman she was and the profound impact she had on all of us. Anne’s infectious laugh could light up a room, and her selfless heart always put others before herself. She had a natural sense of adventure and was unapologetically authentic, never afraid to be herself. Her love of cooking and caring for her family was evident in everything she did, always ensuring that her loved ones were well cared for, no matter the circumstances. Her greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness. With a great sense of humour and sharp wit, she had a way of making everyone around her laugh and feel at ease. Anne’s presence left a lasting mark on anyone fortunate enough to know her, and her spirit will forever live on in our hearts. We will miss her dearly, but we are comforted knowing she will always be with us in the memories and love she leaves behind. At Anne’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service.
