Closed for a close call
Imbibers were temporarily left hanging after the Elmira LCBO location was closed Monday when a vehicle struck the side of the Church Street building. A 72-year-old Kitchener woman was attempting to park alongside the store when she hopped the curb and struck the wall. The building sustained some damage, prompting the closure, but the location has since reopened its doors to customers. [Joe Merlihan / The Observer]
