Construction is expected to begin later this spring on an addition to St. Boniface Catholic Elementary School in Breslau.
The project will add space for another 262 students at the school that opened in 2021 to replace the former St. Boniface school in Maryhill. Current enrolment is 444 pupils.
The provincial Ministry of Education last month gave the Waterloo Catholic District School Board another $2.2 million, bringing the project’s total to $10.9 million.
