Regional council voted Wednesday night to oppose plans for a casino anywhere in Waterloo Region. The vote was meaningless, and should be treated as such by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. As a symbolic gesture, the vote was a waste of time. But it was also a case of a government overstep
