Getting the body and mind tuned up


Scott Gallagher was guest speaker at the recent New Horizon’s meeting on Thursday, April 13th at 10 a.m. at the Maryhill Heritage Park Community Centre.  Scott is owner and operator of Gallagher Athletic Therapy and his clinic is located in St. John Kilmarnock School.  He is committed to helping people of all ages and has 15 years of experience.  His topic was “Is your body keeping up with your mind” was very informative and gave information on how to stay healthy and active even in our golden years.  Scott demonstrated simple exercises in which he had the audience actively participating.

The next and last meeting will be on Thursday, May 11th at 10 a.m. at the Maryhill Heritage Park Community Centre.  Guest speaker will be Bill Schwarz of Kirkwood Wagner Art Gallery and Lawyer who will speak on “Art is an Emotion and the Law is the Law.”
