Students visit the Historical Society

On Wednesday, November 2nd Mrs. Leisha Huber’s grade 6 and 7 class visited the Historical Society.

Upstairs is a bedroom complete with rope bed and artifacts from France with another room with school desk holding class registers. On the main floor is the kitchen with information on over 1300 families and the chapel  Downstairs is the wooden “Schmuck” pump, blacksmith anvil and information on veterans.

Although the Edward Halter Home is now closed for the season people wishing information can contact any member of the executive or email maryhillroots.com
