Award-winning essays awarded with certificates

On Thursday, June 24th at the morning assembly Tim Runstedler Youth Co-ordinator for the Maryhill Knights of Columbus was present to award students certificates.  The students in grade 7 and 8 were asked earlier in the year to submit an essay pointing out what their religion meant to them.   Patrick Haley was awarded 1st place with Bella Egredzija and Laura Patron received 2nd and 3rd place receptively.  Matthew Thaler received Honorable Mention.
