Maryhill kids go on the hunt

More than 75 young people enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 19th at the Maryhill Heritage Community Park.

This event is sponsored by the Maryhill Recreation Committee with donations give generously by the Maryhill Knights of Columbus.  At 11 a.m. sharp the fun began as children looked thoughout the entire park looking for plastic eggs.  Inside the plastic eggs could be little chocolate eggs, stickers or a paper saying winner.  If you were a “winner”, you received a large chocolate Easter bunny.

This is the fifth year for this event and is well attended, growing larger every year.  Two of the members on the Maryhill Recreation Committee, Jana Sauve and Liz Lima,  must be given great credit for filling the eggs and hiding them throughout the park.

A thank you to the bunny rabbit who rumor has it that it was Dwayne Sauve.
