Crime of the Week: December 2, 2019 Case#: 1704

Offence: Hit and Run Date: Nov 21, 2019

On Thursday, November 21, 2019, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a pedestrian stuck on Cedarbrae Avenue and Sunnydale Place in Waterloo.

A school crossing guard was assisting students cross the road when she was struck by a pick-up truck. The pick-up truck fled the area without stopping. The 55-year-old crossing guard was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
