Park AGM Meeting

The Mayhill Heritage Park Committee met on Tuesday, November 13th at 7 p.m. in the  Maryhill Fire Hall.

People have been enquiring about purchasing benches for the park and it was noted that the Township is putting together a pamphlet regarding this issue.

It was a small group that came out to rake leaves on Saturday, November 10th but the whole front of the park was done to the back of the rink.  A job well done!!!!

It was also learned that some on our Ash trees in the park will have to be replaced.

The Fish Fry held in September was a success and it was voted the we again have it on a Saturday.

Although we are a small executive we have several members at large who contribute greatly to the looking after the ice rink and  the Halloween & Easter parties. Others are available  when we need them for the fundraising Fish Fries, we know they can be counted on.  They just do not like attending meetings.

The Historical Society of St. Boniface and Maryhill Community committees were formed in 1977. Today our membership is made up of those who have a deep affection for unravelling the mysteries of the past and of those who have ancestral roots in the Parish and Community.
