The Bloomingdale Women’s Institue held their first meeting of the year on Monday, September 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Bloomingdale United Church.

A reminder was made of Area Convention to take place on Wednesday, October 3rd in Alma.

Bloomingdale District Director, Gladys Rellinger gave a brief report on the District Annual meeting which was held on May 23rd at Wanner Mennonite Church. in Beaverdale.  Bloomingdale Institute will be hosting the next District Annual on Wednesday May 15th, 2019 at the Bloomingdale United Church at 1 p.m.  Fee will be $10 a person

Roll Call and program asked the members what job or chore did they have to do, but hated it, and what did they do to make it bearable?  Lots of laughter and reminiscing of stories from childhood.

Next meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Bloomingdale United Church on Monday October 1st.  Roll call will be what nationality of foods do you enjoy. The program will  be “Cooking the Thai Way”.  Members will enjoy a cooking demonstration and a eating experience
