Schools out for summer

Laurie Zefferino DECE ( Designated Early Childhood Educator) and principal JoAnn Giesler won’t be back to St. Boniface School next year.

At the Friday morning assembly, June 30th various awards and ribbons were given out to the different sports groups.  St. Boniface School received a first place plaque for the Intermediate boys 3-Pitch tournament which was held in October and another plaque for the Intermediate boys Volleyball in November.

It was also a time to bid farewell to Laurie Zefferino – DECE (Designated Early Childhood Educator) and principal JoAnn Giesler.

Laurie who has been at St. Boniface school for 4 years will be transferring to St. Matthews School in Waterloo.  Our loss is their gain.

JoAnn Giesler is retiring after 36 years in education with 3 of those years as principal at St. Boniface.

All the staff and students wish these ladies well.
