Strawberry cake a good way to fly our colours to help mark Canada 150

Strawberry Cake

Happy birthday, Canada – 150 years young! Patriotic flags, signs and, for our shop, red and white icing is showing up all over the downtown core. The spirit of our community is shining.

Goods Auto and the Ear and Hearing Clinic have really done a great job spicing up downtown Elmira. Beyond Canada Day, they always do a fabulous job dressing up their building and showing the pride they share for their community – it’s important to keep the downtown vibrant and shiny as new developments come in. As retail options sprawl across Arthur Street the downtown core needs a friendly enticing atmosphere to keep people visiting and willing to search for parking.

Canada Day celebrates all things Canadian. That’s especially true this year. The red-and-white strawberry shortcake is a perfect dessert for your dinner or lunch. Enjoy the long weekend with your friends and family! Happy cooking!
