The monthly meeting of the St. Boniface Catholic Women’s League Meeting was held on Thursday, March 9th. Mass was held at 6 p.m. in church by Father Ron Voisin for the Intentions of the Living and Deceased members and their families of the Catholic Women’s League.

A delicious potluck was held at the home of Diane Strickler followed by a brief meeting.

President Fran Vegh welcomed the ladies on the beautiful evening.

It was decided in October a special mailing will take place which would include the credit card fundraising, a questionnaire regarding CWL and a prayer card. More information will be coming at the September meeting.

CORRESPONDENCE:

Thank you card was received from Mary & Romie Voisin on the sympathy card sent to them on the death of Mary’s niece.

Information was received from the Camboni Missionaries who are celebrating their 150th Anniversary.

The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Newsletter, the Catholic Missions in Canada booklet and Canada Needs Our Lady bulletin also a Sacred Heart CWL Fall Card Party flyer was received.

Diane thanked the CWL for the get well card received following her operation and Fran thanked the ladies as well for paying her way to the Convention.

Fran gave a brief report on the 97th Annual Hamilton Diocesan Catholic Women’s League Convention which was held on the weekend of May 26th in Kitchener.

Maria O’Drowsky reported sending 8 sympathy cards from March to June.
