CWL Christmas Party

The St. Boniface Catholic Women’s League held their Christmas Party on Thursday, December 8th, 2016.

Mass was celebrated at 6:15 p.m. at Riverside Glen in Guelph by Father Ron Voisin for the Intentions of the Living and Deceased members of our Council.

President Fran Vegh welcomed all the ladies who came out. There were 31 ladies present.

A delicious turkey meal with all the trimmings was enjoyed by all.

Convenor Marlene Lehman thanked her daughter Helen Peacock, granddaughter Jackie Peacock and Helen’s mother-in-law Judy Peacock for making the room so festive.

A special thank you to Judy Kittel who organized the gathering of items for the Sanguen Health Centre. The ladies were asked to collect hotel size toiletries: deodorant, lip balm, shampoo, nail clippers, toothbrushes, tooth paste, mouthwash, disposable razors, denture adhesive and cleaner, etc.
