Remembrance Day observances at St. Boniface PS

On Friday, November 11th at 10:45 a.m. St. Boniface School held their Remembrance Day paraliturgy in the school gym.  Each class came quietly and respectfully into the gym for this special occasion.

Various classes had completed art work and these were displayed on the walls.

Principal Jo Ann Giesler and Mrs. Karen Randall’s were in charge of the Remembrance Day observance.

The grade 2 / 3 class  gave their intentions, readings and petitions.  A short music video was played “Soldier’s Cry”.

Each student and the entire staff filed silently out of the school to go over to the “Old Walled Cemetery” and place a wreath in front of the monument of our war veterans.  The Military Taps was played followed by a moment of silence , the Lord’s Prayer and “O Canada”.
