Students strut their stuff at talent show at St. Boniface

St. Boniface School has many talented students and this was certainly evident on Thursday, June 24th.  Jasmine Brown, Maria Kanellis and Kristen Busse were the emcees for the 24  acts.  Many parents, grandparents, older siblings, neighbours and friends were present to enjoy the show which ran for over an hour.

The show consisted of the folk dance group, group dancing, and jazz dancing, gymnastics, karate, and jokes.  There were students who sang in a group, performed solos, a student playing the keyboard, a tribute skit to secretary Diane Strickler and this year was the dueling drums.

These students were from grade 1 right up to the grade 8 class and it was hard to tell who enjoyed the program more – the audience or the students performing.

The costumes were gorgeous.  Grade 1 / 2 teacher Corinne Kennedy and a parent Julie Kobe worked together as a team to auditioned the students for the show and worked on the practices.
