Woolwich man arrested in conjunction with indecent exposure incident at Market

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a 57-year-old Woolwich man in connection with an incident December 21, 2014 on Farmer’s Market Road in the township.
Richard Charles Cholak was arrested on January 13 and charged with an indecent act and indecent exposure to persons under 16 years of age. He appeared in court Wednesday and was remanded into custody.
Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate preliminary reports of a possible incident on December 30 at the Conestoga Mall. Investigators urge anyone who may have already reported suspicious behavior to retail managers or store security to please also contact North Division at (519) 653-7700, ext 6399 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Police remind families to be cognizant of your child’s surroundings while in public settings, and report any suspicious behavior to police.
