Look straight into your puppy’s eyes and give back some of the joy they bring to your life everyday by trying your hand at making some of these cookies.
Now, I’m sure it’s not very often you make your dog something special and I’m equally sure we can all agree you could just leave your favourite bag of chips open for them to munch on instead, but my dog loves these cookies and yours will too.
You will want to keep these in an airtight container, which will help them last for up to a week. If you don’t think you will go through them in a week, you can freeze them and take them out one at a time. Have fun with this cooking adventure and watch your dog’s life light up when you give them one of these treats.

Stop Barking Dog Treats
2 cups all-purpose flour (plus a little extra for dusting)
1 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped small
1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth)
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.;
Whisk together the flour and cornmeal in a mixing bowl;
Lightly grease two baking sheets;
Place the peanut butter in a pot and slowly heat until peanut butter has liquefied. Stir the peanut butter, bacon, water, vegetable oil, and egg into the flour mixture until a stiff dough forms. Roll out on a floured surface and cut into treat shapes with a cookie cutter. Place the treats onto the prepared cookie sheets;
Bake in the preheated oven until golden, 10 to 12 minutes;
Allow the treats to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
